Your daughter has been asking to take ballet lessons. Now that you are convinced that she is really serious, you have signed her up for classes. The next step in this adventure is to make sure that she has an appropriate ensemble to wear. Your little darling is probably so excited that she wants one in every color at the dancewear shop.

Before you start spending her college fund on ballet outfits, ask her instructor for advice. Perhaps the class she is taking will be doing special dance recitals as a group. In that case, all the participants will probably be required to dress alike. Don’t forget to present her with a bouquet of flowers right after her performance. Her smile will light up your day!

Obviously, she will need color-coordinated tights, ballet slippers, and her main dance outfit. Sometimes, the instructors will allow the girls to wear glitter in their hair or even on their skin so that they feel extra special.

During their regular dance classes, the girls usually wear an exercise outfit which includes ballet slippers and tights. If the instructor says it is okay, you could get your little girl an ensemble that is her favorite bright color.

Maybe she could wear a touch of makeup or glitter that will make her feel like a star and increase her confidence. To make her ballet class experience more special, you could buy your daughter a little bag to carry all her ballet supplies and dance clothes.

It would really be cool if you put her name on the bag. Make sure it is in her favorite color, too. You and your daughter will share memories of this experience for years to come!
